The Financial Advisor is responsible for prospecting and qualifying prospective clients, and assessing and monitoring an individual or individual's overall financial picture and making recommendations to help them improve upon it with sound, ethical financial planning advice.
Prospect and qualify prospective clients through networking, follow-up from seminars, social media relationships and warm lead generation.
Provide sound financial advice to individuals.
Interview clients to determine their current income, expenses, insurance coverage, tax status, financial objectives, risk tolerance, and other information needed to develop a financial plan.
Recommend strategies clients can use to achieve their financial goals and objectives, including advice on debt management, cash management, insurance coverage, and investments.
Identify and keep abreast of new market trends.
Use spreadsheets and market research to back up financial advice.
Review accounts to determine if life changes necessitate new financial strategies.
Recommends the sale of products such as stocks, bonds, and mutual funds.
Determine the net worth of an individual or corporation.
Oversee the investments and making changes as necessary in order to help the individual or company to gain even more money.
Handle customer complaints and resolve problems.
Meets or exceeds annual performance and personal growth goals.
Increases assets under management on an annual basis meeting or exceeding established goals annually.
Provides exceptional client service.
Provides sound, ethical financial planning advice and direction to clients.
Meets continuing education expectations to maintain CFP certification.
Adheres to Firm's compliance, policies and procedures, and standards.
Achieves a 4.5 or greater average scores from client surveys.
Interfaces with staff in a professional, responsive, and respectful manner and participates fully as a member of the team.
Represents Firm in a professional manner at all times both internally and externally.
CFP designation and relevant continuous education
8+ years' experience as a Financial Advisor
