The Finance Division provides financial management, enterprise planning and stewardship in support of education, research, and strategic goals of the university. Our mission is to provide university partners with the tools and resources needed to be well-informed leaders and effective decision makers.
The System Implementation and Technology Solutions team within Finance provides project-focused services with an emphasis on technology to improve business processing, eliminate redundancies or barriers and to improve the bottom line. We are a team of experts whose portfolio includes IT projects of various sizes in the areas of project management, process documentation and improvement and technology development.
We are searching for a Business Analyst to join our team; this is an excellent opportunity if you thrive in an interesting and challenging work environment. You will contribute to the department by providing essential support in the design, configuration, development, and end user support of the Perceptive Content system at CMU. This includes working collaboratively with project managers, domain experts, management, and partners during the design, delivery, testing, and go-live phases of projects.
Core responsibilities will include:
Provide tier 2 level support to include fixing advanced issues, tracking from initial notification through resolution, reporting on progress and/or challenges, working with vendor and other IT resources, testing during upgrades, patching and other minor solution changes, and reviewing and updating process documentation, test scripts, and escalated issues.
Participate in enterprise content management project activities to include understanding the design of future state, testing and supporting user acceptance testing, providing high-level support of processes after the projects end, building and maintenance of project documentation, and raising issues to leadership when necessary.
Provide support to leadership in areas of system development, implementation of technology solutions, and process improvement initiatives.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field required
Minimum three years of relevant business and system support experience required
Experience with Perceptive Content or similar enterprise content management system highly desired; functional system knowledge of Oracle E-business Suite preferred
