The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a qualified Assistant Director, Finance.
The incumbent is responsible for departmental project management accounting for the Department of Pediatrics. Funding is currently housed at the University of Pittsburgh, UPMC/CHP, and UPP, making management of the program very dynamic and complex.
The incumbent will - Prepare and execute high-level departmental financial statements, cost studies, and financial analysis of direct, indirect revenue and salary projections - Review and implement policies and procedures and recommend appropriate changes to management - Assist in the preparation and management of the annual budget and variance reports
This position plays a critical role in the overall financial operations of the departmental operating budget and academic business management. Bachelor's required. This position is located at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh in Lawrenceville.
