Finance and Business Associate, Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE)-2011866
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), part of the College of Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), is a diverse academic community just shy of 1,400 individuals (faculty, staff and students) and includes global research and teaching efforts through extensions of our Pittsburgh academic programs and research in Silicon Valley, Portugal, Africa and Singapore.
The ECE department, has an immediate opening for a Finance and Business Associate on the Pittsburgh campus. We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to add to the team. In this role, you will report to the Director of Finance and Sponsored Research and will be responsible for providing financial support for complex programs and projects that require advanced financial skills and in depth knowledge of department and university practices, policies, procedures and programs. You will process and oversee financial transactions in accordance with policy and procedure and will work independently to investigate and resolve outstanding and/or ongoing issues in the areas of: business processes, finance, payroll, student accounts, student fellowships and scholarships.
