What the Role Is: Financial Advisors are the primary source of consultation and advice provided to clients on matters of financial planning, investments, and platforms provided by the company. Advisors manage client relationships, source prospects through multiple methods of communication including phone calls, email communication, referrals, in-person, and company-lead events to maintain a high level of client service. They will also lead client Goal Review meetings, Portfolio Review meetings, Risk Audit meetings as well as conduct quarterly out bound stay in touch calls.
Financial Advisors serve existing clients of the firm as well as develop new relationships with prospective clients. The ensemble approach to providing financial advice allows Financial Advisors to focus on providing advice and expanding the firm’s client base while other team members manage account-level details, money movement, individual investment selection and other tasks.
The work schedule for all offices is Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM, but this role may assist with projects and client services across Eastern and Central time zones.
This role's compensation is based on becoming a Wealth Partner through our career track, with objectives centered around AUM, client experience responsibilities, and licenses/CFP credentials.
Establish financial planning relationships, help clients identify and prioritize their financial goals, asses clients’ resources, advise and recommend actions that help clients achieve their goals, implement the recommendations agreed upon by the clients, and monitor clients’ progress toward their goals over time.
Generate leads through multiple avenues, including referrals of existing clients, company-sponsored events, centers of influence, and cold calling potential leads
Independently build and manage relationships with current and prospective clients, including awareness of market trends, crisis management, and ongoing improvements available to enhance clients’ experiences
Work with company Paraplanners to initiate business process to ensure client signatures and compliance are completed for all necessary transactions
Utilize financial and trading software to manage, change, trade, and review account statuses of client accounts; retrieve reports in preparations for client meetings
Maintain objective goals on a weekly basis, such as client phone calls, goal reviews completed, miscellaneous meetings, and ongoing client experience interactions
Remain knowledgeable in the policies and regulations of the regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all work activities
Work with all other team members in a way that is conducive with the mission, values, and beliefs of the company to provide customer service beyond expectations
Comply with company-wide policies and SEC/FINRA regulations
Education & KSAs
Series 7, 63/65, and/or 66 to be achieved soon after hire
Certified Financial Planner (CFP) obtained after licensing
Progressive analytical knowledge and interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
Ability to build trusting interpersonal relationships through empathy and active listening skills
Adaptable, accurate, and creative problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Knowledge of financial planning and investment reporting software
Ability to apply existing knowledge of planning tools to learn the tech stack used by the firm

Additional Salary Information: Our Financial Advisors have a progressive 10-level career track based on AUM, licensing, and CFP certification, resulting in an upward path to becoming a Wealth Partner of the company at Level 7.
