Responsibilities & Objectives:
Participate in and provide leadership for firm initiatives and projects.
Lead and manage the review and compilation engagements in accordance with firm and professional standards within budget and deadline expectations.
Perform detailed reviews of workpapers completed by other associates, communicate proactively with clients and engagement partners regarding project status.
Provide training, direction, and supervision to staff and senior accountants.
Review tax-related information to include tax provisions
Strong technical skills in reviewing relevant return types.
Ability to work remotely and use relevant technology
Research and communicate with client and firm personnel regarding complex accounting and tax matters
Actively participate in firm sponsored events for industry-specific and/or regional clients and prospects.
Strong interpersonal skills. Must be comfortable interacting directly with clients and prospective clients in business development efforts.
Ability to manage client base and service delivery filing requirements;
Ability to work remotely and use relevant technology;
Strong written and verbal communication skills;
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize under tight deadlines;
Manage, develop, train and mentor staff including performance reviews;
Desire to develop a career;
A Bachelor's or master’s degree in accounting is required. A related graduate degree preferred. MST a plus;
A CPA certification is required;
At least eight years of job-related experience of which five years are in public accounting
