Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Solution Specialist, Enterprise Performance, Finance and Enterprise Performance in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work You'll Do
Support implementations of Cloud-based technologies, including data cleansing and conversions, interface design and development, and System Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Enable end-to-end journey from On-premise to Cloud and perform design and development within the following focus areas: Cloud messaging, ground-to-Cloud connectivity, Cloud Strategy, Op Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration & APIs (Application Program Interface), Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure & Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services (CMS). Design and develop data governance standards, roles and responsibilities, and conversion strategies, and facilitate data conversion, mapping and cleansing workshops to support Cloud conversion. Convert legacy data according to current system's data structure using data warehouse concepts, and design conversion strategies and mapping rules between legacy data and the current system database to facilitate data conversion. Research user reported issues with software applications, identify root causes and resolutions, implement fixes, and liaise between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams. Create technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, to be used for application development. Track application defects using defect tracking tools, coordinate defect resolution efforts, and document resolution details. Design sub-components of larger application systems, integrate the applications with each other, and continuously optimize system structure to improve stability and performance.
15% travel required nationally.
Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (Any), or a related field and one (1) year of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Must also have one (1) year of related work experience involving each of the following:
Configuring Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS) to integrate On-premise Oracle Hyperion Planning to scale and perform industry standard infrastructure;
Participating in Proof of Concept (POC) configuration for Cloud Financials and Capital and Strategic modeling;
Conducting planning and budgeting forecast workshops by utilizing Oracle Hyperion EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) suite of applications and outlining scope of business performance;
Configuring Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS) with Oracle General Ledger (GL) and Peoplesoft Systems for key business driven data;
Performing Unit testing, Regression testing, and defect tracking and resolution in HPQC (Quality Center) and HP ITSM (Information Technology Service Management) for standard and custom developments;
Contributing to the development and evolution of Enterprise Technology Solutions (ETS) methodologies and intellectual capital, including publishing articles, whitepapers, or performing research in support of ETS initiatives;
Preparing monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial results of an organization by utilizing Oracle Hyperion Financial Reporting (HFR); and
Troubleshooting planning and forecasting issues related to Oracle Financial Close and Consolidation Service (FCCS) by recommending roadmaps and implementation plans.
