About our client
We are working with a leading independent investment bank that is looking to add an Associate to the secondary advisory side of its private capital advisory team.

What the job involves
As an Analyst in the team, you can expect to have responsibilities across the transaction process: from origination and execution through to project management and client relationship maintenance and development..

Drafting and coordinating the preparation of pitch presentations, information memoranda and other marketing materials
Performing a key role in executing client mandates
Proactively supporting the team's MD and Principals
Creating and coordinating the creation of financial models and business valuations
Conducting industry and company-specific due diligence related to transactions
Attending client meetings

Who we are looking for

Enthusiasm to develop a career in the private equity secondary market
Proven investment banking, secondary advisory or relevant financial services experience of a minimum of 6 months
Experience in scoping and executing secondary transactions is advantageous
Exceptional academic credentials
Relevant professional qualification (e.g. CFA or ACA) is advantageous
Firm grasp of asset and fund valuation methods
A strong work ethic and the ability to maintain high standards on all tasks
A keen eye for detail, strong numerical ability and logical reasoning
Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex ideas clearly
Demonstrable commercial awareness and a real interest in secondary transactions
