Our Corporate and Investment Banking teams in Berlin are working on our strategic tech stack across a range of products including fixed income sales & trading, FX trading (incl. our award-winning Autobahn platform), payments (incl. payments acceptance), core banking, lending and trade finance amongst others. All our systems are built for scale and global business flows.

As a Site Reliability Engineer / DevOps Engineer (m/f/x) you will ensure that our systems run reliably across our Cloud and On-prem estates and will implement effective delivery processes/structures jointly with the dev teams.

Your key responsibilities

• Work as part of an agile team to define the target state of infrastructure architecture applications, including hardware, networks, operating systems and other requirements???and deliver those for both production and testing environments???
• Develop, improve, and maintain internal operation tools, such as deployment, monitoring, statistics, platform management tools, and ensure a CI/CD pipeline setup and management???
• Automate application build and deployment procedures, execute deployment on testing and production environments. Optimizing existing deployment processes???
• Perform release management functions including dependency analysis, planning and tracking pre-release activities, reporting status, risks and issues???and collaborating with the Production Support teams to define application support run-books , pre-production checks and other procedures
• Work with application teams to adopt Google Cloud and Hybrid Cloud platforms where applicable

Your skills and experiences

• Hands-on professional experience in a Site Reliability or DevOps Engineer role including experience with production environment running and monitoring
• Experience and knowledge in infrastructure architecture, capacity planning, failover and disaster recovery, etc
• Hands on experience with Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Unix and Linux; Experience with Python, Java, Kotlin, Golang, Node.js is a plus.???Experience with Corvils is a plus
• Experience with high-load systems and performance testing and tuning
• Experience with GCP or AWS cloud and related devops stacks is a big plus
