Our Corporate and Investment Banking teams in Berlin are working on our strategic tech stack across a range of products including fixed income sales & trading, FX trading (incl. our award-winning Autobahn platform), payments (incl. payments acceptance), core banking, lending and trade finance amongst others. All our systems are built for scale and global business flows.

As a Fullstack Developer (m/f/x) you will be designing & implementing our core strategic systems underpinning these businesses.

Your key responsibilities

• Working on business and functional requirements, technical analyses and design of microservice-based & Cloud-native application s or their components . Contribute to the definition of the future state of our system architecture.
• Prototyping new features, meeting business needs and solving challenging technical problems by designing and developing application code.
• Lead the delivery of other team members and mentor junior developers
• Driving new and maintaining existing visual guidelines and ensure consistency throughout the applications
• Work in a cross disciplined agile team with shared responsibility and high autonomy e.g., Collaborating with QA to ensure quality solutions are delivered to end users

Your skills and experiences

• Hands on working experience in Fullstack development in an agile set-up; ideally in a regulated environment
• Experience with Java, JavaScript (including Node.js framework), Spring framework, APIs (RESTful services), TypeScript with any modern front-end framework: React, Next.js, Vue.js, Angular and databases.
• Experience with microservices, as well as building Microservices with REST APIs around big data storage
• Practical experience with modern DevOps/SRE pipelines and CI/CD tools (Maven, Gradle, Git, Jenkins or TeamCity).
• Basic understanding of web security principles would be a plus, as well as basic experience with SQL and non-SQL databases, and basic knowledge of Linux.
