Our Corporate and Investment Banking teams in Berlin are working on our strategic tech stack across a range of products including fixed income sales & trading, FX trading (incl. our award-winning Autobahn platform), payments (incl. payments acceptance), core banking, lending and trade finance amongst others. All our systems are built for scale and global business flows.
As a Senior Java Engineer (m/f/x) you will be implementing our core strategic systems underpinning these businesses.

Your key responsibilities
Define and develop high performance, cloud-ready, microservice based software solutions from scratch.
Work in close partnership with business stakeholders and our QA teams on functional and non-functional requirements, technical analyses, design decisions and APIs.
Write well designed, testable and efficient code, perform Dev tests yourself and review other team member's changes
After you have gained experience with our products and architecture, you can mentor and instruct junior developers
Contribute and define the future state of our system architecture
Your skills and experiences
Hands-on working experience???as a Java/Kotlin Backend Developer in an agile team at scale of Java, ideally in a regulated environment
Very good hands-on knowledge of core Java features (collections, multi-threading, networking) and u nderstanding of algorithms, complexities and data structures; experience in coding with Kotlin is a big plus
Experience in designing, developing and implementing high availability solutions / microservices / distributed concurrent applications
Experience with modern SDLC tools - Git, JIRA, Artifactory, Jenkins/TeamCity is a plus???
Hands-on knowledge of modern Web UI technologies (React) or any of these (Spring-boot, SQL, Kafka , Linus, OpenAPI , Maven ) ??? is a plus???
