Internal Auditor II
Responsible for conducting and documenting audit projects in a variety of areas with an emphasis on SOX compliance. Evaluates internal controls and designs and conducts tests. Evaluates business processes, procedures, policies and internal controls and identifies factors causing deficiencies. Provides audit support to fellow Calpine staff as well as outside consultants to facilitate the audit processes. Provides services in the area of research, analysis, and at the more senior levels, managing audit projects. Documents all work according to standards consistent with the Internal Audit profession.
