CB Data Services provide stable, reliable, curated, controlled CB data and tooling that enables CB in data analytics and services. Within CB Data services, Data Architecture and Modelling CoE (Centre of Excellence) design and create strategic data models and protocols for data publication.
As a Senior Data Modeller, you'll take ownership and work on the design and development enterprise logical data models and physical data models that will support the CB business strategy. You will ensure the design team create models that are agreed by data producers and consumers and adhere to group data architecture and industry standards.

Your key responsibilities
Work closely with Business Change Management and other Information Technology groups to ensure data models are aligned to current and future plans and activities, including coordination and technical assistance to facilitate specific development projects
Defining, designing, building, and maintaining data models for their function in addition to identifying and collaborating with data architects who have shared dependencies
Articulating the 'language' for their function in a data model for example conceptual, canonical, logical or physical data models
Providing Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) input into Data flow architecture activities and partnering with the Technology/System architects to define appropriate data sources by data class (and in accordance with CDO policies)
Collaborating with Development teams, Change Management, and Enterprise Architecture to develop and assure constant compliance with strategic blueprints
Your skills and experience
Experience in designing and implementing data pipelines and protocol formats in enterprise system architecture
Prior experience designing enterprise Logical data models and Physical data models (UML) and exposure to modelling tools such as Enterprise Architect and Power Designer
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Well-developed business and requirements analysis skills, data management and governance experience for example setting up and managing working groups defining and enforcing data ownership, defining and enforcing data maintenance plans
Database design and report construction and Structured Query Language (SQL) experience
Understanding of XML, Json model design as it relates to logical and physical data models and messaging structures
